Let the hurricane hysteria begin!
I tried to get some stuff done today but pretty much everything was closed. I drove around for an hour and couldn't find really anything, so I guess I'm stuck at home again until this thing blows over. Yay. I did get gas yesterday though so I'm set, even though I had to pay out the ass for it. But at least I got to see three people fighting in the gas station while I was in line to fill up. Nothing like a little unnecessary aggression to keep you entertained while you wait.
I did get to leave work early yesterday though, so being the geek I am I took advantage by buying the Star Wars Trilogy box set. Thanks to this site I knew that CompUSA was selling it for $40, which is cheaper than any place I've seen even online so that was cool. Last night I saw the documentaries and ROTJ with the commentary on, which was basically the sound guy droning on for fucking ever.
So now I'm watching The Daily Show and I'm noticing that Matthew Broderick seems to have a combover. Does that strike anyone else as odd? I mean, he still looks 19 but the rest of him is getting old. He's one of my favorite actors but I think he's going through the Opie effect. Poor Matt.
Speaking of which, I think I'll watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off, never heard the commentary on that one. Man is this weekend gonna be fun. Ugh. It's better than missing work though.

Yes, my streak is over. But a longer one will begin. I went 2 1/2 years and I plan on going a lot longer than that now.
