Today wasn't too bad, I didn't get into work until 11:30 on the excuse that I was getting all dressed up for meetings today, and I bullshitted myself through pretty much the entire day without having to do much of any kind of work and I got to leave on time (which for me is early). So I'm in a fairly pleasant mood right now.
Another awesome thing that happened today, I heard while at work that BellSouth was offering business DSL with a 3 Mbps download for $90/mo. I checked it out to see if they had it for homes as well since that was a pretty nice deal, it turns out that homes is only $5 more than what I'm paying now for 1.5 Mbps. So I get twice the download speed for only $5 more a month. I called in, and after a half hour on hold, of which I spent mostly eating, I set it all up. No setup fees or extra equipment necessary, and it'll be switched in 48-72 hours. Nice.
Being in the telcom industry most of my professional life I've bitched about BellSouth a lot, but I gotta give them props for this deal, it's pretty nifty.
And I swear I didn't just get it so I could download pr0n faster....honest
