Ugh, not a great weekend for me. Allergies were kicking my ass, I wanted to go to the beach both days and I promised my mom I'd visit, but I didn't do anything but lay in bed and sniffle and sneeze. I finally remembered I had some allergy meds and took those yesterday which made me all groggy so I slept most of the day and the times I got up I was all lightheaded and took enough just to heat up some chunky soup and go back to bed. I hate it when my brain and body don't cooperate, one is going a thousand miles a minute and the other is asleep.
But, I'm feeling a little better now. We wouldn't wanna be sick at work now woud we? Blah. Anyhow, so I woke up at 2 am or so this morning, about 20 mins after Reese signed off for the night but no biggie I'll talk to her tonight. I caught up on some TiVo, and then went to Denny's to pay $12 for a $4 meal. I wish there was more stuff open 24 hours in my area, where I used to live there was this great Cuban restaurant open 24/7 I could eat good food in there any time I wanted. I remember eating there one time at 6 am on Christmas morning.
And here's the question of the day...What's in a Grand Slam breakfast? I figured it was two of everything, but I didn't know what everything was, does it include a drink? toast? The menu doesn't say, it just says "Our famous Grand Slam breakfast" for the description, as if we're supposed to know what that is. Anyhow, I asked and the waiter seems to answer that question a lot so I'm wondering why they don't list it in the menu or at least put up a picture. Seems kind of presumptuous to me to assume that everyone knows what their signature meal is.
Ok, so that's my rant of the day
