I get paid today 
It's extra special cause I should have a lot of money coming in, which if you've been reading my journal lately is definitely needed right now. On top of the ticket I got other unexpected bills I gotta pay off
The major news is that the big money project I've been working on since last October is finally finally finally done. It's up and running and has gotten a couple hundred dollars worth of orders already just in the last two days. It looks like the search engine optimization I did on the site is working pretty well, I did a search on the first line they sell, and my site came up as the first hit. Yay me!
I originally figured the whole project would take me about 3 months, and quoted $7600 for the whole thing. There were a lot of bumps along the way, often times having to do extra work and a lot more work and even work I've already done over again. But, for the most part it's done now, and aside from the overall layout which I'm not too happy with (their choice) I think it will make a good portfolio piece for my e-commerce section.
In the meantime, on top of knowing way too much about makeup lines now, I've realized two things. One, girls spend a ridiculous amount of money on silly things. Two, some guys spend even more
So, I'm expecting to get paid in about an hour or two, get my check for the last two weeks, plus some billable hours, and the commission off this site, and I should be rolling in some much needed benjamins. Yay for paycheck day!!
UPDATE: I joined the four digit club today, yay me again!!
