What a long handful of months!

I went from quitting my job of four years, to being hired in the shop of one of the largest audio production companies in the world, to being on tour, to returning and partially running the shop, to running the tech department for one of the largest clubs in Canada. In total, I have had a total of maybe 15+ days off since mid April.

I have been busier then any other time of my life, and I hated it. I have realized something very important for my life; I work to live. Some people live to work, their job is their lives, it encompasses every aspect of them and they truly get their purpose and self-satisfaction out of what they do for a living. Personally, I work to live. I work just to put the cash in my pocket and allow me to enjoy the parts of my life that are most important to me. Conveniently, I also enjoy most of the work I do. Where I went wrong was diverging myself too deep into my work, and forgetting about my life.

So what is my life? My life is my family, my girlfriend, my friends. It is my photography, and my music. It is my apartment, my city and my favourite area; "Queen St. W". It is going out to DarkRave, Velvet Underground, and Savage Garden. It is hanging out at 5A in a park as the sprinklers set off, soaking our mounds of black leather, PVC and other materials. It is staying up all night, and sleeping all day. It is spending some time online, SG and others. It is just LIVING! Not WORKING!

Never the less, I am back to my life, and that means back to SG! SO! Time for you to let me know about anything interesting in YOUR life. So yah! Drop me a line YO! I miss ya all!

"Never the less, we are doing sushi soon! Even if I have to tap dance at Nathan Phillips to raise money for it!"

i was there today and there was this guy all dressed in gold with gold body paint and a guitar. hed stand as still as a statue until people walked past, when hed belt out elvis songs to them. imitating a statue until people walk by and tap dancing would look pretty funny. or a little freaky.
