Got promoted recently, now officially the "Technical Supervisor" of "The Docks Nightclub and Entertainment Complex". So that is kinda cool, a little bit of a raise, just enough to put me into a new tax bracket, so I am actually making almost less. Allows me to yell at DJs though, ha. J/K
Having said that, back into DJing now, renewing my subscriptions and picking up "Serato Scratch Live" soon. I am picking up gigs already, which is ok, cause I am behind in my music. Ah well! I have lots of music to buy, meh.

The problem when I'm at Velvet when Osaze's at the helm is that I seldom leave the dancefloor. Especially last Thursday. I requested Goodbye German by And One. Apparently he didn't have it, but he played about a set for about an hour and a half that for which I couldn't leave the dancefloor. I was the dude with the long curly hair, visor and chains dancing maniacally on the dancefloor . I can imagine I'm a difficult thing to miss.
We'll see how I'm doing next week. Velvet rocks but I have to be up at 7:00 the following morning so I can't stay until close. And even staying until 2:00 as I did, I'm burnt the next day. Though my boss still won't be in next week so it's likely I'll be there again.
