BORED!
At work... oh how I am dreading this "urban events".
Not that I hate Hip-Hop, Reggae, R&B, etc... rather that I really dislike the "scene".
Unfortunately the night club that I work at is a bit of a sell out now. They rent to anyone willing to pay and host an event, regardless if it is urban, dance, rock, etc. We had a really cool rock night last year, with a classic rock room, a mainstream rock room, a UK rock room, and retro/90s on the patio. It was really good music, and a lot of radio spots on the 4 sponsoring stations... but no one was coming out, so we canned it. Now it is this urban night. It is busy... but with a facility this large... that means lots of fights and attitude. All stuff I could do without.
Thank god for Velvet last night... you guys save my soul every week with your cheap booze, good music and enjoyable company.
