Since last I wrote and you read, here's what happened:

I got a job working for a major bank. It was okay, but I didn't see much of a future in it. The job itself was fairly complicated stuff involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and loan servicing guidelines and violations thereof, etc. Honestly, it was pretty interesting, but difficult. Not a bad gig.

However, a couple months into that, I found out that my parents were losing their tenant in their condo in Dana Point. So I snatched it up, and I'm renting from them. I rented my Arizona place to a friend of mine. I just got a job that pays a lot more than I'm used to making, but I haven't quite started yet. Here's hoping I'm as qualified as the interviewer appears to think.

I also read everything in the Song of Ice and Fire series. Now I have to wait probably 10 more years for the series to finish. First thing I did when I signed back up was correct someone on Current Events. Then I looked at Porphyria's newest member review set. Then I went and looked for a Game of Thrones/ASOIAF group and found there isn't one. Should I try to make one? Would people want to talk about it? It's tricky, because it can get spoiled so easily. Still... I want to talk about my theories.
