I have the same sort of thing about atheism. Glib atheists who take cheap shots at religions upon which they clearly don't have even a cursory knowledge don't really help the cause.

Tangentially, last month at work I had a boy I work with tell me that he thought most vegans became vegans because they were arrogant. It completely blew my mind, on account of being such a bizarre thing to say, but after our conversation he did some research and now he's a little bit "ew meat".

Man, seriously.
