Well, got stoned for the first time in my life last night. Eh. Just made me feel dumber, unable to keep track of anything for more than a few seconds.

I felt like I kept saying rude things to the other people who were there, thinking they were funny and realizing they weren't as soon as I said them. No one took any offense to anything I said, but I know a recipe for disaster when I see one.

It also seemed to remove the "Stop thinking about this, this is dumb" function from my brain, so I'd be developing a thought for a few minutes and realize how dumb it was. Thankfully, this was before I said anything.

All in all, I'm not really a fan. For a party scenario, I'd rather be drunk. The only thing I really enjoyed was after everyone left and I just laid in my bed, stoned, listening to this song:

That part was pretty awesome.

Word, dude. I did that the first time last year. A friend of mine had talked so much about how "awesome" it was to just "lie down and smile for a couple of hours" so finally I conceded, but all it did was make me slow and stupid and bored. He is a sweet guy, but it did make me question both his vices and his common sense. As one sould question the mentality of a man who likes feeling stupid.

But the song was pretty neat.

Fair enough, but I prefer to have a cup of tea and a book. I, too, like feeling intelligent and I am a bit afraid of letting go of that. Maybe because sometimes I feel like that is all I have.

I'm sorry about the girl. Those things hurt. Even more so when you have to see them every day and the wound never get the chance to heal before it is torn open again.
Then again, I could have told you that trying to get somewhere with somebody on grass is pretty much like trying to melt the polar ice with your mind - a very slow business. Yet another reason to prefer alcohol.

That last one was by the way the Least Politically Correct sentence of the week.
