Tonight was my best friend's stag party. I'm watching him destroy his life with alcohol. If I wasn't convinced before, I am now. He needs to stop drinking. Completely.

He told his dad not to come to his wedding, and that he wishes he was dead. Maybe the guy deserved it, maybe not. Probably not, in fact.
His fiance is petrified because she thinks he's going to kill himself, because he told her so.
His mom is panicked because she's trying to hold him together and stop him from ruining his marriage before it even starts. She's on her way to his place right now to try and glue him back together.

He's acting like a fucking child.

Frankly, I don't even know what to do at this point. I have to just hope that tonight will wake him up, and he realizes how close he came to losing the most important thing in his life because he's a fucking drunk. It's not even that he gets drunk that often, it's that he becomes a complete asshole when he is drunk.

If I were this girl, there's no way I'd be getting married to him a week from now. Not after this. I hope she does anyway.

If he doesn't see tonight as a wake up call, then I'm going to have to kick his ass until he figures it out.
