A tad less than a year later. I'm proud of myself for completely neglecting this.
I'm making this post just in case anyone (foolishly) stumbles onto this page. I'm beginning to feel that education may have been a good field for me, because I'm genuinely interested in spreading knowledge. In the spirit of that, and in the unlikely event that you somehow missed it, I'd like you to learn about the battle between Anonymous and Scientology.
Why is this important? Because Scientology is far too reminiscent of the Church of the Dark Ages. They are making naked power grabs, and their intentions are clear. Their goal is no less than complete control. I'm paraphrasing another anti-Scientologist here when I say that the present is our legacy to the future. We can be apathetic and let them do as they will, or we can educate ourselves, take a stand, and tell them that they are not needed or wanted here, and we will not allow them the dominance they desire.
