I swore I'd never do it.
If you met a guy who spent a lot of his time just carving up cow carcasses, he'd pretty much be a freak, right? But then if you found out he was a butcher, it makes sense. "Oh," you'd say. "It's for his job. That's healthy."
That's how I feel about Myspace. If your job is to promote yourself in some way, like you're a musician or model or anything that requires you to get some sort of publicity, it makes sense. But people who just troll Myspace and indulge in themselves day in and day out... there's something unwholesome about that.
But really, this is the same thing. Sure, the atmosphere is nicer and there's a bit more of an air of maturity to this, but it's just arrogance to say that justifies it.
So I've sold out. I'm bored and need attention, feed me!
