Ahhhhhh, electricity. What a wonderful thing.
I woke up this morning and discovered that the winter weather had knocked out power on my block. What really bothers me is that the day care center across the street and the office park behind me never loses power. We were powerless from 7:30am until about 9pm.
Just got home from music trivia tonight. This is different than regular trivia on wednesday nights. Same place, same dj, but this is all music related. Our team name was "We Never Win" and we proved it tonight by coming in 6th place out of 8 teams. But at least we weren't last.
Music trivia is actually a lot harder than you think. My friends and I know a lot about music, but we realize that we don't know as much as we think. We know this song and that song and this artist and that artist, but we never remember who did what and when. Plus, it doesn't help that you have The Black Eyed Peas playing real loud while trying to remember the name of a Spin Doctors song. Oh well, there's always wednesday night trivia. We seem to do better then.
