I have Jury Duty in about 2 hours from now. I really don't want to go. It's not that I have anything against it, I'm just going to lose a lot of money. I normally make about $150 a day at my job. When doing Jury Duty, I'll get paid $25 a day. And this is Superior Court so this might take a few days.

Don't get me wrong, I love WWII movies it's just this one REALLY got to me and not in a good way.
I like a little bit of predictability in my entertainment. Not alot just a certain amount of happy, even a bittersweet ending. Not a complete and total let down from mid way through to finish.

I hear your cannonical story of corporate interfacing. It reads like a BOFH story (u know them?).

I am waiting to hear whether I get to be one of those braindead reps or not. It scares me, but I need the money. 1st line helpdesk hehe. I am kinda curious just to know what actually goes on in those places. Will I develop 'braindeadness', if I do develop the required IQ will it be permanent? All these questions and more will, hopefully be answered when the manager gets back on Monday from his 'sickie'.
