I am very honored - and exceedingly excited - to say that my favorite SG, Jackie, has offered to paint a picture for me. She posted a small image of 'Dahlia' in her journal and I fell in love with it, I'm sure you can see why....



When I asked Jackie to send me a larger image of that painting she also sent me this one, 'Lily'



I see strength and femininity in her art. I find it delightfully evocative. Jackie has made gifts of the two she has allowed me to share here and is kind enough to paint one for me. This could be the cure to my flu! ;o) I'm absolutely thrilled and beside myself with gratitude. When one creates something of ones self and then share it with another - that gift is truly precious. Of course I will post photos as soon as I receive my gift from the artist herself, but I expect it will take some time. This is certainly a gift worth waiting for! Thank you Jackie.
