In other news:
There was a snafu with my enrollment. All my classes were dropped and there was a hold on my enrollment because the college apparently did not recieve payment for this quarter. I only found out when my name was not called in any of the classes I signed up for. This morning I managed to straighten everything out because I knew the payment had been sent off, because dad told me he did. So. I'm attempting to re-enter myself into all my previous classes with mixed success. Music theory 1 filled up immediately, so no luck there. The analytic philosopy course (witgenstein) is ok. I'm also in a course on philosophical writing which is basically a paper intensive course on the nicomachean ethics (aristotle).
I was walking home from class tuesday and I heard drumming (on a drum kit) coming from the student lounge. There was a guy in there playing drums by himself. I introduced myself, told him I had a guitar and amp up in my room, and asked if he wanted to jam. He wasn't a metal guy but we riffed anyway for about 3 hours. It was fun. First time playing with a drummer in about two years. My mental timing has markedly improved.

may 1st i'll be in minneapolis for thrashfest. I would love to see suffocation and morbid angel. Last time was morbid angel,deicide,exhumed,soilent green, zyklon and animosity at the palace in hollywood. best deathmetal show ive ever been to. rivaling that, macabre and cannibal corpse at slims last year. that was awesome. . .
