Alohra and I are totally Enid and Rebecca from Ghost World. I guess i must be the friend because I'm blonder ... she's way cooler in the comic tho. We watched that tonight with my roomate and also Big Fish, which I cried thru like the silly girl i am. That part where time stands still and Ewan Mcgregor sees the love of his life for the first time and brushes the popcorn out of the way to walk towards her .... Why can't everything be like Tim Burton films. That part kills me.

Alohra and I spent the day looking at things that are pretty/awesome in Northwest. Like, vintage doorknobs made of glass or light-up lotus flower lamps or perfume that's got sparkles in it (which made us smell like department store ladies, yuk) or scarves that look like that white cake mix with rainbow dots in it (yummy) and lacy slinky lingerie. There should be a job of just collecting things that are really cool. That and fortune-cookie writing will be my life's professions.
Since when do they give you fortune cookies at a sushi restaurant?

I'm not really sure why it can't be imaginative AND honest .... maybe thats the whole thing about living life as some script of your own creation.

yeah ... so I ate some really tasty sushi at this scary stripmall place on the outside that was actually cool inside (like some metaphor for life, god forbid) and it was free because of dorm funds !

also, my roomate gets so much ass and I don't, and all my dormies are drunk and I'm not. I guess i shouldn't be down about this since i don't really want those things right now, unless they're with my boy who makes time stand still and popcorn freeze in the air. I get to go home for thanksgiving, and then we will raise hell.
yeah ... did everyone forget about thanksgiving? everywhere is selling christmas shit already what the fuck. I guess this happens every year and I'm just complaining like a grumpy old person. Dang kids today don't appreciate thanksgiving. &%&^$&@&
