Woke up with next to nothing planned for Saturday, but it turned out to be quite a nice day.
I was invited out to go sailing for the afternoon
Six hours of sitting back, drinking beer and cruising across Shilshole Bay. It's great to just kick back like that, all the little worries go away for a while. The Sun was out most of the time and the breeze was light and cool. Enough to get us around to to where we had planned, which was nowhere.
As soon as we got back I raced home to let the pooch out, had dinner at a friend's house and then went out to see Clutch at the Graceland. I honestly hadn't heard them before, but a friend of mine was into it, so what the hell. Some people make comparissons between their sound and Tool's, but I didn't hear it, so whatever. Honestly, they put on a great show. Fun crowd and LOUD! The fact that they played for 2 hours with only a 10 minute intermission is practically unheard of in this day and age. On that alone one has to kind of like them.
I recovering today. Keeping it a low key Fourth. Shots of Patron and many beers were consumed yesterday...
