This is turning into somewhat of a surreal week. The first part being on the scene for the monorail fire, and now a meteor streaks across the sky over Seattle this morning, just before 3am. I was in a dead sleep, but I woke up to my entire room bathed in light. It lasted only for a second, but long enough for me to register the eerie glow on my walls. One or two large BOOMs followed. I rubbed my eyes and I honestly wasn't too sure if I was dreaming or awake. The pooch slept through everything...typical (he's deaf ya know).
