Thanks for the well wishes for my pooch He's doing much better after recieving some IV fluids, antibiotics, and a bit of rest. I basically babysat him all day Sunday. Unfortunately, I didn't get a whole lot of sleep on account of the constant peeing he was doing throughout the night, all do to the IV fluids. I don't know how many of you have actually seen this, but they inject the fluids right under the skin. This makes a large bulbous sack of fluid that's absorbed slowly back into the body. The whole thing looks really bizarre; like a waterballoon under the skin. He didn't seem to mind and was mostly content with sleeping and bugging me to go out and pee.

I needed rest so I stayed away from the PC for a couple of days. This has the tendancy to lead me to do a little too much thinking about things. Old doubts about what I should/could be doing with my life tend to creep up when I have time to myself -and I'm in no position to do much about anything right now.
