I just got back from a weekend in Sydney. I saw Bright Eyes at the Metro. He was excellent, such a unique voice and an incredible talent on the guitar as well. There was a real air of cockiness there but I guess thats expected, I wished he tried to communicate with the audience more but thats just splitting hairs...I also have to learn to...

So Wedding was incredible, I cried like a big soppy girlypants, which I didn't anticipate! I never thought I would cry at a wedding! Given it was my sisters, but when it came to the speeches which I was MCing I barely pulled it together. An emotional time with my Mother passing late last year, so the though of her not sharing this with us...

So ,y sister is getting married on Saturday. Holy! It hadn't quite dawned on me until now, but I'm looking forward to it...I think...my little sister getting married!!!! As you can see I'm still getting used to it. Arranging wedding music is quite cool though. They are walking down the aisle to 'sade, by your side' which a beautiful song, maybe a bit sappy for...

A man has spent many days crossing the Sahara without water. His trusty horse and camel have both long since died of thirst. Drier than a Californian raisin, he is on all fours crawling through the sands certain that he has breathed his last.

All of a sudden he sees an object sticking out of the sand 6 feet ahead of him. He crawls to...

Good name for a band.

Clear-desk policy
rude_ruca:
lol, GREAT name for a band...what, is that something that they are imposing upon a young lad such as yourself? To shame with that! anyway, will DEFINATELY check out that book (?) that you suggested, im quite interested! ooo aaa
rude_ruca:
haha, thats fucking INSANELY hilarious....But, I do have some ?'s for you, musically speaking...I want to check out mars volta, along with scissor sisters...any insight to their sound? Your taste in music is great, too wink

I understand that scissors can beat paper, and I get how rock can beat scissors, but there's no fucking way paper can beat rock.

Paper is supposed to magically "wrap around" rock, rendering it immobile?

Why the hell can't paper do this to scissors?

Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt...

I think paper is more devious then that. It cuts into you over and over and over again. Until you have a million tiny paper cuts. So many cuts that you can't wash them all and then they become infected and you die. But that still doesn't explain how it wins over rock though. Now cardboard, that is something to really watch out for. Cardboard cuts are huge and painful.
kiljoy:
That's wicked... very wicked... I like it.
