Hell its been a while!~ All consumed in work and new home ownership. My sister and her husband are off to South Africa for 3 months, my friend Ollie off to Europe and HopeAugust off to the States...the birds are leaving the nest.
Saw the Roots last nite. Holy I thought their show in 2004 was incredible but this surpassed that entirely. Virtuoso musicianship complete with individual solos and as a band they channel everyone from Jimmy Hendrix to Funkadelix and Marvin Gaye...awe-inspiring. And for soemthing completely different, Kitsch album launch friday. Yeah! Plus Roots Manuva is on the way along with Shai Hulud (not the same show!) and I'm keen to see Auckland producers State Of Mind alongside Pendulum here next weekend. Better start saving...
