Saw 'Amelie' for the first time last night! What an incredible film. The idiosyncrasities of the characters and their unique traits creaate a film that inspires and uplifts. I love Amelie (female protaganist) and Nino's (male protaganist) obsessions and neuroses highlighting human flaws in a positive light. The film focuses on the enjoyment of each moment, however small or trivial and the plight for true love in a unique and sweet conclusion. Hallelujah. See it you haven't, and watch it again if you have. Oh, and Audrey Tatou! Wow!
