my fear is becomming tangible. it is the blanket that pins me to the bed every morning, seperating me from the world. as i curl into myself, seeking familiar comfort in my own cream colored world, i can't help but think.... why me? what makes my suffocating insignificant world worth sharing with you?
i'm afraid of what i'm capable of. my heart has been capable of so much for so long, i'm afraid i'll give it all away too quickly given the chance.
but most of all...i'm afraid of scaring away the first person willing to strip the blanket off my naked body and introduce me to the world.
