abhorrence

It's been too long my blog. Life can be pretty distracting surprisingly when you're not doing much, especially that life that you create for yourself inside your head.

I've found in the past month that I've been looking for recognition, acceptance and attention from the strangest places. I figure the more distanced the person or even concept is from my life, the more I can avoid me and my dissatisfaction with some of the elements within my world. The truth is I'm always looking farther than what I can see and that sometimes means the things that are right in front of me get overlooked.

I sort of wish that I could get to know people a bit better on SG, that I could utilize it better. But it does require a lot of work and tracking and commenting and posting to make a virtual image of yourself and what you stand for and that you're just not some creepy dude that likes chicks with piercings. Eh, maybe someday I'll get the knack for this thing.

I've got an idea for a photoset for my pics and some of the groups on here but I a) need something that resembles boxing gloves (maybe actual boxing gloves) and b) a photographer. It was easier when I was dating one - a photographer, not a boxing glove even though that would be interesting - or when one was a close friend that wasn't in Ottawa and not talking to me. But that's different drama.

Well, I'm off for now but I was feeling inspired awhile ago to write a short short story on this thing after reading Anoushka's and just maybe I'll follow suit.
