Ok, so a funny thing happened last night, I got a phone call at midnight from stryka saying she slept through the Wilmington stop for her train ride home. She was on her way to Baltimore, and could either get off there, and wait for a ride home, or get off at DC for a 4 somethingish train back to DE. So a short, but complex story later I was on 95S with a friend on our way to fetch her.
This would have gone smoothly but the directions to the train station were f.u.b.a.r. Cant really blame stryka for this one though, she got them from the conductor. We ended up getting there after asking a transit cop who was taking care of a lady that got her car hung up on some train tracks by a stadium. This was our first run in with the cops. As fr how she got her car hung up. You see there are a couple areas in Balt. (apparently) where the trains run on street level. She was driving in this area, which is not a road, and well. The road ended. She being a brain surgin did not see the black top end, evolution at its best.
So we picked her up, groggy as could be, and started home. So speaking of evolution we got lost in a neighborhood that seriously looked like the eastern Europe scene from Eurotrip. Think row upon row or well row homes, all boarded up, like no grass, and devoid of life. I noticed we were being shadowed by a cop, and decided to ask for directions. So I said Hello, we are lost. The very amused cop really hadnt noticed. Us could you tell us how to get back to I-95N? Him Sure turn right here, it the next light turn left again, and left again at the light after that, go straight for about 15 minutes and then. Hell your sure as shit going to get lost, follow me. After he got us back to civ. We asked him how bad the neighborhood we were lost in was, he said its the most violent area of the city.
This is about the time our friend riding shot gun realized he had been lost there years ago. The directions he had actually did read do not stop at stop signs there, and were written by a cop.
So we get back to DE, and it being 5Am at this point we crash out at the Newark Refugee Camp, run by the BavarianBitch of course.
