I'm really I'm into history. If any SG girl would like to run with this idea. That'd be cool. Minoan culture was matriarchal, pacifists, and had amazing art, science, and culture.

I feel like I need to commend all of the ladies of SG! You're all awesome, and empowering. Your art and beauty makes the world a better place. Your skill in your profession, and the also the skill of the photographers is amazing. Competitive with the best nature, automotive, science, and generally, photography internationally I've seen. And the subject matter! You're all so unique and...

I have to call this, "Everything but the Kitchen Sink." Broccoli, thinly sliced carrots, pickled cabbage, julienned onions, long grain rice, chicken, mushrooms, in a miso broth, heavy on cilantro and garlic, light on the chili paste. With a garnish of scallions and truffle oil.

Taco philosophy. Three tacos that are 3 - 4 bites each, or two "loaded tacos?" What is the ideal portion for street food. Pictured here, I was prepping Purple Potatoes as a side, and threw it in with my peppers and onions I marinated for the steak fajitas. I would call this two 2 - 3 bite tacos. Just an experiment.

I love cooking street food. It's always so simple, and so good. Who doesn't like fajitas? There are so many varieties of potatoes in South and Central America, I wish more were available in the US.

Mushroom Ramen, Teriyaki Chicken, Garlic Mushroom, and Beef Teriyaki. I love all of Asian cooking, Thai, all the regions of China, Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, the Philippines. I try to stay to tradition, and maintain the flavors. Stir frying is always fun. And good soups are the reward for patience and preparation.

Reopening a restaurant after the pandemic shut down. Then the two towns next to me being burned down due to arson, one of which is where the kitchen I work at is located. Luckily the business...

As someone who has an interest in primate biology, behavior, and evolution I'm rather shocked I've never heard of these critters! Flying monkeys!!! Well...not monkeys, relatives of primates. Just need the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion, and we're in the world of Oz!

Colugos

A new friend in the Empire of Medieval Pursuits gifted me this amazing rattan (what we fight with in the EMP -- real armor, practice weapons, not to say rattan couldn't kill you if you didn't have armor on) beef splitter cleaver. My armament of choice. The tapered handle, the slight curve, and the blade is actually another piece of rattan, it's absolutely perfect. Can...
