Just for clarification, a "pistou" is traditionally just basil, garlic, and olive oil. A "pesto," incorporates parmesan, and pine nuts. I'm a sucker for traditional recipes. I love to show respect for the culture the food comes from. Whether a Torta, Cubano, Reuben, or an Ahi Tuna Poke bowl, pasta, the mother sauces, etc. I could go on an on. I love it all. Thank you everyone for your love of good food! :)
