2009 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS - PITTSBURGH PENGUINS



Anyone who truly knows me knows how big of a fan I am - some might say I am obsessed. Some might say I have an addiction. I say I don't give a fuck I LOVE MY TEAM!! love love love


I called off the following Monday to go to the parade. I got my ass up at 5:30am (I usually don't go to bed til 2) I was in Station Square by 7:30am. I was still a little ways away from the stage, but I was right against the railing so I got some really good pictures. Here's just a few (out of the 500 I took).

On a completely separate and more serious note my Gramma's been in the hospital since the 12th. (She was pissed she missed Game 7). She went in for a 3hr surgery, it turned into 11hrs. She was in critical care for a few days, them once she was in a regular room she developed a staph infection. SO now she is in her own private room. She's still really confused a lot so the Dr.'s have asked us to stay with her over night.... so that is where I sit... I'll be staying with her Wednesday and Saturday nights since I don't have to work the next days. This is rough. This is really really rough. It sucks not being able to do anything but sit here. I don't know what to do.... I just needed to vent a bit cause this sucks. I try to keep positive, but it's been very hard. I can't really talk to my family about it cause everyone has their own opinions on what we SHOULD be doing. My mom and her sister at each others throats. My cousin is mad at her mom cause she never calls to tell her whats going on -- ugh. I brought my laptop and True Blood with me to keep me company. mmm Eric..



I think I am going to try and get a few hours sleep in this chair, though with all the beeping I doubt I'll be able to.... I'll probably just end up getting lost in Season 1 of True Blood...
