a while ago, i finally got out of the relationship i've been in since july of 09. i realized, upon reflection, that she was happiest when i was most unhappy. now that i am back in my home town, bettering myself, she can't stand it. so, we broke things off, amicably. keep calm and carry on.
my best friend, kvas, and his wife are attempting to hook me up with their friend, which would be great. she is super adorable and has a great personality. we'll see what happens. i'm not going to push it. for now, i have my new friend, beckett, who i just adopted. he can keep me company, even if he does hang out under the couch a lot.
