Alright ... my computer is screwy. Dunno what it is ... I have these weird greyish translucent bars going across my screen that only appear when I open a program - any program.
And the resolution seems to be off too ... although it is still at the same setting it was before.
I wish I had another monitor to check and see if it is just my monitor dying, or whether I actually have some kind of problem here.

I'm computer illiterate, so I'm zero help on the grey line thing...I hope it fixes itself. Or you could just kick it.
