So ... I figured since I seem to be known around here as the guy that eats cats ... I might as well tell you about the cat in the picture.

I introduce to you, Samantha - Queen of the kitty world ... at least in my girlfriends humble abode.

This would be her whoring it up for the camera.



When I first started dating my girlfriend, I was a bit aprehensive going into her apartment. She has four cats ... and while I like the furry critters, I happen to be allergic to them.

But a lil Clairi ... erm ... no-name allergy relief medication does wonders. However ... Samantha seemed to be allergic to me. Wherever I was, she made it her job to be anywhere else. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I was like eight thousand times bigger than her ... maybe it just so happens to be that she is shy to new people ... who knows. But really - I was the plague to her.

Until one night, as I was getting ready to sleep, I put the pillow over my head (protection from that cats that jumped down on the bed from the window ... always fun to dodge cats while trying to sleep ... or enjoy mutual nakedness) and out of nowhere, Samantha walked over me, came up to my face, stuck her nose on my lips and then crawled up onto the pillow on my head and promptly fell asleep.

So ... I have apparently bonded with a cat. Never having a cat, nor having a friend with a cat that was friendly enough to pet without fears of scratches or bites ... I was quite tentative with her.

But it got to the point where if I was laying down, she would pace around beside me until I would pat the blankets over my stomach so she could crawl up and curl into a little ball and purr like there was no tomorrow.

Then again ... she does have her downfalls.

No matter how cute she is, she is sometimes down right rude.

She once ran up to me, jumped up on my stomach (I was lying on the bed) and sneezed in my face and then ran away. It was totally her only purpose to run up and sneeze at me.

And another time, she quietly snuck up beside me on the bed, meowed really cutely, stretched her head forward and licked my nose, then crawled up on my stomach, turned around, raised her tail and farted in my face.

And yes ... you are more than welcome to laugh at that, 'cause really, I am laughing my ass off myself.

Bottom line ... the cat is at complete ease with me. Proof positive in that picture right up over der ... to the left ... hey now - your other left stupid ... yeah ... that's the one. Good for you!! Pat yourself on the back.

And BTW - 25 isn't old ... I do realize that ... it's more me looking around and seeing so many successful people my age and younger, while I sit here and look for a job to pay the bills.
