My winamp playlist the past couple days has consisted of five songs:

A Perfect Circle - Imagine
A Perfect Circle - Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums
Elliott Smith - Twilight
Eagles of Death Metal - I only Want You
Slipknot - Vermillion


All these songs kick mother fucking ass. And all these songs are being heard by me thanks to the most beautiful Rosalyn. If it wasn't for her ... I'd have kept searching for soul search ... not soul seek.

But seriously ... I thought John Lennon sang Imagine hauntingly beautiful ... but damn ... Maynard just has such a hollow reality to his voice that it sends chills down my spine.

Counting Bodies Like Sheep ... damn good song. I love the video ... quite trippy. Reminds me more of Tool than APC though.

Elliott Smith is a fucking brilliant artist. Too bad he isn't with us anymore ... he had an amazing talent. Twilight has to be one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I highly recommend this song ... for anyone.

Eagles of Death Metal are pretty damn chillin. I just like the beat to this song, the fast pace, the way he sings .... it's like a hoedown in my basement and only I'm invited.

And Slipknot ... I never know what to expect from them. Sometimes I like, sometimes not too much. This song ... I really like. I like the video too ... partly 'cause the girl is damn cute, partly for the way it was shot.


And that is my playlist ... simple, short ... and soon to be played out. lol
