Yesterday was ... interesting.

At 7 am, me, my girlfriend and my dad left my place to head up to Sauble Beach for the day.

It's a 2.5-3 hour drive, Northwest to Lake Huron. And lemme tell you ... it is worth every minute of it once you get up there.

I've been going there every summer for about 15 years now ... stay in the same motel, eat at the same restaurant, park in the same-ish location on the beach ... hell ... it's like a daily ritual or something ... only it happens twice a year.

Anyways ... my girlfriend had a blast. She'd never been there and was amazed at how pretty it is and how quiet it is ... and serene and everything else.

She convinced me to go swimming, even though the wind was damn nipply and I had goosebumps. But hell ... I love swimming and figured, it woulsn't hurt to have some fun.

So yeah ... my nuts are still cold. I'm not sure if the water wasn't all that bad, or I quickly became numb and couldn't feel the coldness of the water, but we stayed in for about 15-20 minutes.

Anyways ... not much more of interest to write about at the beach.

When my girlfriend and I went back to her place, the night got a shade more interesting.

Being the tard that I am, I don't have a drivers license ... so public transit is my friend. We were taking the streetcar from Dundas West Station ... (I should interject here ... if you live in a place that has no streetcars and you have no clue what they are ... they are like busses, only no gas - they are run by an electrical line above the car) and almost to her place when we hit a slight problem.

A person had exited the streetcar from the front doors and a car had come up the side of the streetcar and hit the person. I heard the screech and the thud, instantly got up and ran off the streetcar to see how I could help.

The first thing I noticed was the windshield of the car was shattered. I didn't like where this was going. I went to the front of the car, but there was no body there. I worried that the car might have been on top of the person struck, but noticed the driver of the streetcar talking to a person and asking if he was alright.

The guy that got hit seemed to be perfectly fine. He shrugged it off and walked away with his friend.

I was standing beside the car that hit him and looked down at the driver while saying, "What the fuck is wrong with you?" when I noticed that THIS WAS THE SAME FUCKING CAR AND DRIVER THAT ALMOST HIT ME LAST WEEK!

The anger I felt at that moment was kinda scary even to me. This was the guy that almost hit me last week and now here he is and he HAS hit someone. I reached in, slapped him in the back of the head and called him an asshole.

And that's when he decided to drive off.

Luckily, another passenger on the streetcar had gotten the license plate number and was calling the cops on his cell. I got back on the streetcar and talked to the driver, woh was now driving and looking for the guy that got hit. A block up, we found him ... perfectly fine.

The cops came in a few minutes and statements were taken. Everyone around told me that I shouldn't have told the police that I hit the guy, but I figured, honesty is better ... and anyways ... I'd love to have a chance to field the case if the driver decided to charge me with assault. I would SO have a field day there. LOL.

But anyways ... the guy that got hit was fine. Felt no pain and had no visable damage. The police convinced him to go to the hospital to be checked out just in case, but it seemed like he was no worse for the wear.

Twas a fucking surreal night. I totally thought I was going to see something bad when I got off the streetcar after it happened. I didn't ever think that I'd see the guy that almost hit me last week. I didn't think I'd lose my temper that easily and hit the guy.

But lemme tell you ... the police officer smiled and whinked at me when I told her I had hit the guy. I thought I mighta got a stern lecture or something, but she seemed to be okay with it all. lol

I think the bowl I smoked when I finally did get to my girlfriends was one of the best I've had in awhile ... totally calmed my nerves down.

OHHHH - and ... interesting news I got last night. For those that remember my journal entry about my friend that got married last week - get this - the kid prolly isn't his. I can't say anything else about it right now ... but ... I'm rejoicing.

SOOOO ... how was your weekend? I want details.
