You know there are some really stupid people out there.
Last night around 1 o'clock in the morning some idiot thought it would be really funny to pull the fire alarm.
The bell for the fire alarm is no more than 5' away from my bedroom window.
I shot out of bed in a panic.
So all of the tenants in my building were standing out side for almost 2 hours.
We waited for our maintenance guy to show up who didn't.
We ended up calling the fire department.
We ended up having to wait for the hot fire men to show up and shut off the alarm.
Only then were we allowed to return to our apartments.
The firemen had to go through every apartment to make sure there wasn't a fire.
So here I am, along with everyone else who was in the building, standing outside in my robe.
That was just what I wanted to do that time of night.
Oh well it made for a good excuse to call into work the next morning.

Damn those fools who pulled the alarm.
