I just lost my favorite pair of sunnies today and I am distraught.
They looked like these only in a black frame, I have had them ever since they first came on the market a few years ago and it shits me that they are no longer in my life
They were the equivalent to a childs blanky and I miss them. I always felt safe behind them as they not only protected my eyes from the thermo nuclear glare of the brutal Aussie sun, but also acted as a refuge from the harsh realities of life. Sunnies and old blue jeans are like comfort food for the body.
If the eyes are the window's to the soul then sunnies are for privacy.
*Sheds small tear and goes to room for a lie down*
I woke up tired, worried about nothings, and i threw on a pair of sunglasses, because they made me feel better. and i started my day, but 10 mintues later, i stopped and questionned why they made me feel better. because they create Distance. Safe Distance.
Good fences don't make good neighbors. They make easy neighbors. Good neighbors don't need fences.
Fingernails: sunglasses for your hands

So, too late, I'm afraid, I've turned down the job in Adelaide, and boy, do I regret it already...
I was hoping they'd beg me to reconsider...
