If a man cries alone in the forest will the forest care

will it hear his cries and wipe his eyes

or just stay quiet and hope he dies

finding nourishment in his decay

is this really natures only way

why do I bother to pray

I mean who's prayer is it

that gets answered

at the end of the day

I prayed

then cried

heard nothing

and died

this all happened

on the inside
