Well, I'm in a relationship now. (We've been dating for two weeks.)
Everything did, indeed, seem a little Disneyland for a bit and SPLASH here comes reality!
I have become, for the first time, ensnared in a conflict between two girlfriends.
Exhibit A.) I and S. flirted casually, but uncompellingly (for me), at a bar and on FB. S. thought that this might lead somewhere. I did not.
Exhibit B.) B. and I flirted intensely over the same amount of time. (Seriously, I met B. the same week that I met S.) No FB. Just hella eye contact, many energy-addled micro-conversations.
Anyway, on Halloween it was finally ON for B. and I. And it was wonderful, as have been the past two weeks.
And now S. has contacted B. saying "I was interested in AaronJames, and told you I was interested in him, and you betrayed me as a friend."
I see S.'s point, as does B. B. feels terrible, but she and I are also rather attached to one another, and both of us would like to continue the relationship.
What do I do? The next two weeks might be soap-operaish? I have no idea. This has never happened to me before. I have never had more than one woman profess to finding me desirable at once, let alone two who are both friends with one another!
