I met a girl this weekend. In a surprising move, I actually attempted, and succesfully flirted with a girl. We'll see if she calls, but its good to know I'm not completely without these abilities.

Came to a revelation on Saturday too. When I sing, its all about me, I'm singing to myself. Everyone else be damned. I don't so much care what other people...

So I finally got to see Wedding Crashers last night. What a brilliant movie. It never ceases to amaze me how funny those guys are. And what a great spot Will Ferrell did. He is a wonderful big goof. I will say nothing more for those who have not seen it.

I had a solidly great weekend. Good time, good people, drinking and music. Sadly,...

Pretense pisses me off. I really just wanted to punch my boss for the level of pretense he was exhibiting. No reason for such pretense, just pretense cause he feels like his dick isn't large enough, so he has to make up for it by owning everything and not allowing anyone to use it. I'm being brought down by simple anger ... how frustrating.

I...

I spent my lunch hour trying to avoid the geese in the public gardens today. They seemed to be stalking me. Evil, evil geese. smile

Oh yes, and my No Dating Rule has been in effect for a little over a year. It was instigated as the last guy I went out with became obsessed with me and started stalking me. That tends to make a girl a little wary.

How 'bout you?

Simplicity is easier than one might think.

My plan tonight is to go home with my sister, sit down, watch some TV, smoke a little bit of wonderful Purple Haze, then cause myself to relax before I have to come into work tomorrow and deal with hell. I hate relying on others.

I randomly started singing to a girl on the street as I went...

Today I celebrate life again, dirty text/phone messages from hot lesbians who tease me so, writing music, good friends, good food, thunder, rain and the simple thought that life is as simple as waking up and going to sleep with a lot of fun in between.

I celebrate my job, 5 years working for lawyers and I doubt I'm much more of an asshole than...

July is turning into a grand month in politics. The curruption is showing through, Bush is defying Congress, our army is showing its weakness. This administration is finally showing Americans what their votes cost them. Once a strong nation, now divided, weakened, and every check and balance fighting to be in control. Democracy? Hardly.

I wish people in the U.S. would take up the talking...

i think democracy is an ideal that is hard to achieve. i have often thought that communism looked much better on paper-very organized, and seeming to bring equality...but again, oppression drove the masses mad! i think politicians are just too jaded and not driven by any agenda but their own. its up to the US citizens to change that...religion I think has its bright spots...although religion and govt should not be mixed, i believe in God and i like to go to church....but i dont really believe in organized religion as i think it gives people the idea that they can kill in the name of God. quite a ridiculous notion.
thanks for the congrats! its nice to have a boyfriend/lover/best friend all rolled into one!
good luck with the song

The weekend came and went in a glorious and non-humid fashion. I spent Friday night watching my roommate's band perform. Fun times, got rather shattered at the bar, and was introduced to a man who's sheer disrespect for women was staggering, all after sprinting all out for a few blocks just in time to stop a guy who was walking away from a bus stop...

yes very strange holiday-the fourth of july...ill always be a proud american and it was monumental for the colonists to break free from England...so why are we in other countries? it seems like an oxymoron...i guess now i finally understand what its like to be at war...i never thought i would live to see the day when the US would be at war for so long...
i guess history never dies.

I hate going to weddings because a good priest or whatnot always reminds me why people are so dumb. The word love is expressed in a way that isn't love. Infatuation perhaps. I'm very fond of infatuation, it makes you feel good and happy to be with someone. That is also why divorce rates are so high.

Sitting at the wedding, I thought to myself...

thank you. yes the news is very bleak. no matter was is going on the world, all the media seems to care about are celebrities and bad things. its funny but i still talk to that DJ over the summer once in awhile (online of course) and i cant believe i was so hung up on someone so ridiculously immature, but at the same time i get annoyed that i still about him from time to time.
any good plans for the holiday weekend?

The weekend was great. Spent it with my sister, Dane, and my Aunt and Uncle. Improv Asylum, Midevil Manor, graveyards, pot, booze. I like this side of my family. I'm a bit hungover today, Peggy the Wench is now my friend.

No news over the weekend, except for a tad bit of a congressional hearing on the rights of Iraqi/Afghani prisoners I watched on Sunday...
