The weekend came and went in a glorious and non-humid fashion. I spent Friday night watching my roommate's band perform. Fun times, got rather shattered at the bar, and was introduced to a man who's sheer disrespect for women was staggering, all after sprinting all out for a few blocks just in time to stop a guy who was walking away from a bus stop where my sister left her purse ... it was open and he was walking away with it, and for the first time in a long time, I actually intimidated someone ... new experience for me. I got her purse back, and a portion of her money, but when he started to threaten about a gun (which I'm sure wasn't there, but didn't think it needed to be pushed), we walked away and were happy she got her purse, ID, credit cards back. What a wild night.
Saturday I was lazy, lazy lazy lazy. Sunday I went over to my friend Peter's place and grilled, sat around and chat, just generally had a quiet and enjoyable time there. Yesterday I went over to my friend Dan's place and enjoyed lots of drinking. What an excellent weekend. Tonight I go home and clean out my room OCD style. Lots of trash tonight is what that translates into. What a fun evening ahead, eh?
And that's all I need to say for now. Lots of political crap coming up, so I'm making sure I get all my happy moments in now. WEEEEEE!!!!!
Happy Independence day, and don't forget to celebrate our occupation of multiple other countries!

yes very strange holiday-the fourth of july...ill always be a proud american and it was monumental for the colonists to break free from England...so why are we in other countries? it seems like an oxymoron...i guess now i finally understand what its like to be at war...i never thought i would live to see the day when the US would be at war for so long...
i guess history never dies.
