Interesting reading lately. Lots of little bits of information that set my mind on fire.
Here's a bit that I think everyone should read. I'm sure that it will bother some people, but its not meant to say "Bush is Hitler", but rather, its meant to tell us that we need to watch closely what we do as a nation. It only takes a spark, right? The Nazi's Never Killed Jews
Lately, my OCD has gotten considerably worse. I was so intent on cleaning something, that I didn't realize I was rubbing off huge chunks of skin. My poor hand looks like hell. I worry about how I will keep myself alive 10 years down the road if this shit gets worse. They'll have to commit me I guess.
I could go into a political rant now, but honestly, I'm tired of ranting about things that Americans don't even care about for the most part. Right or wrong, America is happy to ignore it because they don't notice it effecting them. Make American's feel the fear of living in another country (one that we decide on policy for them), then see how they would react to our policies. Also, the number of Americans who think we should pull out of Iraq is growing steadily. For all of those Americans, you can go fuck off. We don't have the option to pull out now, hell, we can barely hold it together as is. And now the White House is saying time tables are a bad choice, because it gives the wrong ideas. Hmmm, like the time tables you promised us when you were arguing for the war? Oh wait, that's different, right?
Oh shit, I'm not ranting...
While watching the news last night, a bit of information was just kind of skipped over, and I've been unable to find anything/anyone covering it. It was just barely noted that at Saddam's tribunal hearing the other day, his legal counsel had no idea he was being questioned. I can't find any information on this at all, but I'm really interested to find out what the deal with that is. As an example of democracy and the new govt. we are setting up there, wouldn't it be nice if he was afforded the same rights we so loudly claim to hold dear ... Now, this could all be wrong, as it was only slightly noted in the news. I'm hoping to find more on the issue.
