Ah, what a glorious weekend! Can it get any nicer out? Nope! Will it get warmer and nearly unbearable soon? Yep! Will All my dress shirts be nicely fitted with pit stains in the next month ... let's hope not. Wow, how uncouth of me.
So life is generally going well lately. I haven't had a depression episode lately because my intake of politics is slowing down somewhat, although I can't seem to stop myself completely. I'm hoping that now with many issues that have stopped up our govt. lately out of the way, that it will be able to proceed in a manner that can be viewed as, well, mature. If all politicians could take a page from Ben Nelson, a democrat from Nebraska of all places. I can tell you from living there as he was governor, that he is a wise man. And even now, following his career in the Senate, he still strikes me as a man of great character. He doesn't side with his party because he's a democrat, he sides with the side of the issue he believes in. Thus, the reason he is a democrat in Nebraska that got elected. If only the rest of our senators could take a page from his book, perhaps we wouldn't be laughed at and despised so much in other countries.
I'm excited for next weekend. My aunt and uncle will be visiting my sister and I. It shall be a most excellent weekend. They are just like my sister and I (should be translated as, they are just as free-spirited as my sister and I). I'm certain that Peter and I will be running off doing things we shouldn't do, but can't help enjoy.
And my sister finally finished her "training" at the Medieval Manor, so now I'm going to have to go see a show and tip her well. Nothing like getting piss drunk and yelling at your sister, "Wench! Bring me another drink!" Yes, I am an asshole, which is why she loves me so much!
And that's all for Monday morning (I started writing this in the morning ... but work takes precedent sometimes).
