Just got back from Florida. Damn what a good time that was. My aunt and uncle, whom I haven't seen for about 20 odd years, happen to be some of the greatest members of my family I have met. They are just like me in the sense that they are crass, loud and mean every word they say. In other words, we don't hold back anything we think to say or do. What a wonderful time. My uncle was even trying to score some pot so we could all smoke together! I sorta wished my father knew the rest of his family was that much fun. We got him to go out with us to a bar one night, and he had himself an awesome time. I guess sitting at home muttering hebrew all the time isn't as fun as he'd like to play it off as. Hopefully this will spur a little life and fun into him. Then again, perhaps not, sometimes the pull of God is stronger than the desire to enjoy and live life - which brings me to another thought.
Why can't people just sit back and enjoy life all the time. Everyone seems to be so worried about so many things, and they fail to see and enjoy all the great things around them. They end up having nuggets of joy, when they could be experiencing a lifetime of happiness. Why oh why would you want anything else? Oh well, I'm happy, which is what matters most to me!
So the night we got our father to go out with us, we saw this band that isn't the greatest of talent, but was most assuredly entertaining. Well, my sisters ended up singing with the band, and I ended up swing dancing and tossing my sister Emily around, which ended with the whole bar giving us a standing ovation which was pretty awesome.
The only thing about the trip I didn't care for was the time I was attacked by ants, my damn feet still itch from that, but it isn't as bad as the sunburn ... ouch. No blisters yet, so I'm happy!
Otherwise, life is good right now. I'm almost thinking its time to start dating again ... just cause it feels like it would be fun to do that again ... so if anyone knows any girls who like men who are bastards, let me know ...
And I digress ...

Keep your stick on the ice, eh?
