I poison my mind in the morning by reading news stories. Why? Because I can't seem to learn from my mistakes, and I'm too damn curious to sit back while the world destroys itself.

A friend of mine from back home sent me a paper titled "How can a good God allow evil". This is yet another attempt to bring me back into the "fold" of the Church. I will most likely read it tonight and write my own response to the thoughts they lay out. It should be interesting to see how she reacts to my response to the paper. Lately I've just felt anti-christianity quite extremely. That could be due to recent correspondence with my little sister who is still in Nebraska with the 'rents, but I just feel like religion is suffocating me from over a thousand miles away. Perhaps it would be wise not to respond to the paper, but I love conflict too much to let it go.

I got my hair cut last night, and the girl who cuts it wanted to put highlights in, so now I look super gay (i.e., hot gay hair), and I got to enjoy having my head fondled by the cutest, sweetest girl I know. Everytime I see her, I feel calm and relaxed, and I only wish she wasn't madly in love with her boyfriend, although I would never tell her that. I'm just content to be around someone as happy as myself. The best part about my haircut was that it cost me $40. Now the place I get my hair cut, well, it is at the top of Newbury Street, and for anyone who knows Boston, that's the most expensive place you can go ... most likely, anyone else who had the same things I had done last night would be charged somewhere around $150-200. She loves me, and I love her, but in a brotherly-sisterly way.

Watched the Celtics game with my roomy last night. Sadly, they lost, but not as badly as it appeared they were going to around halftime. They've gotta win the next one or its over for them. I may not be a sports fan, but I can get behind my home team if they do this well.

I'm quite out of interesting things to say now, so off I go!
