There's nothing like waking up in the morning and just feeling like a god. You walk outside and a cool breeze causes just the slightest chill. After a shower and dressing, you go outside and walk down the street, a house to your right looks like a gingerbread house, and the house to your left has some of the most colorful and fragrant flowers that nearly burn your sinuses, but in a good way. You get to the corner where you pass a girl who looks at you and a smile breaks across her face, which in turn makes a grin that was already spread from ear to ear, turn into a full toothy smile.

I walk down the ways to the corner store and buy myself a plum. I find one that is just barely soft when squeezing it. I take the first bite and juice runs down my chin and the flavor just soaks into my tongue, the skin of the plum grinding between my teeth has the strong sour taste that blends so well with the sugary flesh of the fruit.

Why can't everyday start like that? I feel so wonderful right now. It's like the afterglow from sex that I'm feeling right now. When life is treating you better than perfect, and all you want to do is smile and pass on this warmth inside of you. I can't wait for this weekend, because if I'm doing this well right now, I can't imagine what's in store for me when I don't have to interrupt my perfect day by going to work. Although I don't mind work right now either. I'm just too happy to be bothered.
