So the Sox continue their winning streak. They swept the first series of the postseason. They lost three in a row to the Yanks. They came back to win four in a row. Now they are one game from sweeping the World Series. I would feel bad for St. Louis because they have an amazing team, but come on, the Red Sox deserve this more than anyone, and if they are gonna do it, might as well do it stunningly well. No 8 errors last night ... thank god. Pedro didn't really start off too well, but by the 4, he was lining them up and knocking them down. Manny with his first non-lazy catch and throw of the year (sorry, love the guy, but damnit, run sometimes).
Enough talk of sports, onto my life.
This week has been nice, just very relaxed and hanging out with friends. Played some chess last night during the game. Helped teach my buddy Peter how to play chess better, it was a lot of fun, I was hoping my neighbor would come over and join us, cause he beats me senseless in chess. What a fun game, all about thinking and anticipation.
My friend Mike and I are hanging out tonight. We are going to discuss no politics, tonight it will only be business we speak of. Most of the time we talk about business and politics, but politics must be brushed off right now, mainly due to the fact that if I start discussing them, I will become anti-social again, and that does not do anybody any good, except the republicans, and if I thought I was helping the republicans, I might hurt myself. And before I digress ....
The mailman for my office building today told me that three girls in the building were asking about me ... I think they are under the impression I'm not gay ... granted I'm not, but its a rare occasion for me to be considered straight. I guess it's because it is the financial district, and all the guys are dressed nice, so maybe I just don't stand out ... guess it's time to bring out the scarfs and boas ... just kidding, wow, and now I have digressed.
And scene.
