Watched the debate last night, and I'll be damned, but our country is fucked.

Bush ... if you watched the debates, and listened to him speak, and are still convinced he is a good choice as far as foreign and domestic security is concerned, attempt to listen to the debate without being biased. Bush didn't even answer the questions a lot of the time. Bush didn't attack John Kerry's policies. Oh wait, I'm wrong about that, Bush criticized Kerry about different initiatives Kerry wanted to start, and said "how's he gonna pay for that?". Ain't that fuckin grand after Bush just pushed a tax break for the wealthy through? Bush didn't explain his own policies. Bush's strongest point was that Kerry is a flip-flopper.

A point to be made on flip-flopping: People speak about flip-flopping as if it was a bad thing, but why? Perhaps in the light that they are trying to criticize him, that he changes according to the winds of popular belief, it could be a bad thing, but still, not completely. To change ones mind is something that everyone does, every should do, and anyone that criticizes it should be examined very carefully. "Hindsite is 20/20" That means that you can make the correct decision after the time has already passed, it means you can grow from mistakes, become enlightened. To never change your mind after learning more, and gaining new information makes you the dumbest of individuals. The first time you touched fire, if you didn't learn to not touch it, would you consider that a wise path? Think people, think. And I need to get back to work, so I should stop before I get heated and write 100 pages on why I hate Bush, and why I wish we had a better candidate than Kerry. Arg.

fenway:
yeah it's pretty much a coin toss..neither one appeals to me...maybe the phrase "the devil you know is better than the one you don't know" applies to this situation. i am undecided.

as far as the weekend, i doubt lex will continue with his maturity..his attention span is too short. but im glad we all managed to enjoy a show without crying, clinging, and dirty looks.

i really like Mean Girls. the chicks are hott, the plot has it's funny moments, i love the fashion, and it's so not how my high school experience was like.

Brian liked it (well he enjoyed the girls), but we watched it drunk and stoned so it all worked out...thinking that the last weekend in october might work...
