Cutting back on smoking ... didn't work so well last night. Ended going over to my friends house and got pretty blazed. Then we talked politics for a while. I am getting sorta worried about the election this year. Bush staying in for another term is actually one of the likely outcomes, which scares the hell out of me. Damnit, why won't Hillary just go for it, and take the damn presidency, and put it in her pocket. If she were to annouce her candidacy right now, the utter sway would just be amazing. The woman holds more power than the men ... a new erra perhaps? If she won't run for the executive office, maybe Kerry can sway her to join his office, pick her up as his vice, and they would waltz right into the white house. Damn politics.
So, any thoughts on Bush wasting money to encourage marriage? Granted, he is only wasting 1.5 billion, which is chump change considering how much he has blown already. Does anyone else think that by proposing to amend the constitution, he is violating the little thing called separation of church and state? These are simple ideas that our country is founded upon, and yet our leader can't even seem to grasp it, or appreciate it. A man who quotes the bible as he declares war on an Islamic nation ... there is suddenly no separation as far as the Islamic state is concerned. Our arrogant leader would give them a Jihad.
Who else is tired of hearing about Bush and his military career?
