So over the weekend I had a great time celebrating my buddy's birthday, then I spent the rest of the weekend working on a computer that was given to me. A really nice computer for not having to pay a dime for it. Its a dual processor Intellistation, with a gig of memory in it already, 2.2 GHz Xeon processors, weak hard drive that can easily be replaced, basic drives and such. About $1,000 dollars and I'll have everything I need to record my own stuff at home (that is, when I'm working with others, I can just send tracks to them over the web, and we can work from there). I'm quite excited about this machine.
I've been getting multiple calls from this girl lately. I haven't answered the phone any of the times, and she hasn't left a message. I had at one point in time tried to date this girl. I called her, a couple of times, and left messages both times. I never got a call back. I saw her fairly regularly near my office, she would always say she was going to call me (which I took with a big grain of salt), and she never did call me. Now, about 6 months after I tried, she's calling me multiple times and leaving no messages. I really want nothing to do with her now. I have to say, I just don't get it.
This year I'm spending Thanksgiving with a friend and his family. First time in my life that I'll be spending the holidays away from my family. Its kind of weird, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. But I picked up a bottle of wine the other day for personal consumption, and then my buddy told me that I didn't really need to bring anything, but then said if I wanted to I could bring some wine. They are in for a treat. I got a very nice Barolo. I just love Italian red wine. I've always felt it has much deeper and richer tones than other reds.

I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving, it's always hard being away from your family. But I'm sure you'll have fun - make sure to enjoy that wine!!!
Also, if you're free Saturday night you should come by TT the Bear's in Cambridge for a good show (I apologize if I already told you about it, my memory is rubbish). I'll buy you a beer and we can bond over bad love lives.
